Manuş-u Âlâ

Founded in Istanbul in 2015, Manuş-u Âlâ draws its inspiration from the gypsy jazz tradition pioneered by Django Reinhardt. The band performs original compositions, jazz standards, French chansons, and popular covers through distinctive arrangements that blend swing, waltz, bossa nova, bolero, and funk rhythms.

Acoustic warmth, powerful vocals, a retro aesthetic, and space for improvisation give each performance its own unique character. Manuş-u Âlâ released the single “Bazı Günler” in 2019, followed by the EP “Yola Devam Et” in 2020. In 2026, the band added the French chanson classic “Sous le Ciel de Paris” to both its repertoire and discography with its own arrangement.

From jazz clubs and festivals to restaurants, corporate events, and weddings, Manuş-u Âlâ offers an elegant, energetic, and nostalgic live music experience across a wide range of stages and occasions.
